How can we help?
Open the app and tap "Add baby" on the welcome screen. Enter your baby's name (or nickname), date of birth, and sex. You can also add birth weight and length. Once added, you can immediately start logging feeds, sleep, and nappy changes.
Yes. Sprout supports up to 3 babies. Switch between them in Settings → Baby profiles. Each baby has their own complete log.
Yes. Sprout is fully offline. All data is stored on your device. You never need an internet connection to log anything.
Tap the Feed tab and select the breast side (L or R). The timer starts immediately. Tap "End feed" when done. You can also quick-start a feed from the home screen with one tap.
Yes. While the timer is running, tap the "Switch side" button to swap from left to right (or vice versa). Both durations are recorded separately.
Tap the Feed tab and select "Bottle". Enter the amount in ml and optionally add a note (formula brand, expressed milk, etc.). Bottle feeds are logged instantly — no timer needed.
The home screen shows the last feed time, which breast was last used (if breastfeeding), and a colour-coded indicator showing how long ago it was.
Tap the Sleep tab and press "Start sleep". Choose the sleep location (crib, bassinet, pram, or contact nap). When your baby wakes, tap "End sleep". Duration is recorded automatically.
Sprout shows an estimated time for the next nap based on your baby's age and the time they last woke. This uses age-appropriate wake window ranges (e.g. 45–60 minutes for newborns, up to 3 hours at 6 months). It's a guideline, not a prescription — every baby is different.
Sprout adds up all sleep sessions logged for the day and shows a progress bar against an age-appropriate target (16h for under 12 weeks, 14h for 12–26 weeks, 12h for 26+ weeks). These targets are general guidelines.
Tap the nappy grid on the home screen or the More tab. Select the type: wet, poo, both, or dry. The change is logged instantly — no confirmation required.
When logging a poo nappy, you can optionally select a colour (normal, green, yellow, black, or blood-streaked). The app shows non-medical reference notes for each colour. This is for informational purposes only — always consult your health visitor or GP if you have concerns.
Sprout includes a 3-day free trial. After the trial, it is £5.99 (or $7.99 USD) as a one-time purchase. You pay once and own it forever — no subscription, no recurring charges.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. On iOS: go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android: open the Play Store → Order history → Request a refund. We have no ability to process refunds directly.
Yes. On iOS, use the same Apple ID to restore your purchase — tap "Restore purchases" in Settings. On Android, the same Google account gives you access on any Android device you own.
